I am an IESE MBA and management consultant specializing startups and small businesses. I believe that entrepreneurship can lift people out of poverty and improve communities.  I use over a decade of experience to advise startups in everything from idea validation and feasibility testing to actual implementation.

I built and run Techstars++, a partnership program between Techstars and Mayo Clinic. This is a business development program around forming strategic partnerships between health care IT startups and Mayo Clinic. My work with 80+ founders includes teaching entrepreneurship and running a business incubator for Defy Ventures in New York City, resulting in the launch of 27 businesses. Before that I was part of TechnoServe’s USAID-sponsored business accelerator, Idea Tu Empresa, whose mission was to create and grow businesses along the value chains of cocoa and coffee in the San Martín region of the Peruvian Amazon, formerly one of the world’s largest producers of cocaine.

As an avid supporter of social causes, I have also served as a board member and advisor to numerous non-profits. From 2009-2010 I was on the Leadership Team of the IESE Doing Good Doing Well Conference, the largest student-led sustainability conference in Europe boasting 600+ attendees.

Could your business use a helping hand? Good news! I'm here to lend one!

As I am a very headstrong, anti-student Rachelle worked endlessly to assure that I received valuable entrepreneurial training. She insisted that I learn the economics of one unit, despite my protests.

Today, because of the skills that I learned from Rachelle, I am responsible for staffing and every day operations of a large event hall and café. Her unwavering insistence that I persevere in my education has allowed me to book events, manage staff and know what my bottom dollar will be.

I am filled with gratitude for everything Rachelle has done for me, from the middle of the night reviews on assignments, to the heart felt conversations- my life has changed so much. Thank you Rachelle, I will never forget what you have done to help turn my life around.

TESTIMONIAL

I'm extremely proud of the entrepreneurs I've had the honor of working with over the years. Below are a few worth noting:

Claudia Vasquez Panduro & Ivonne Alvarado of Exotic Chocolatier have a gourmet chocolate shop in the main plaza in Tarapoto, Peru. Their sales grew by 50% during the time we worked together. They have been featured at fairs and tradeshows all around Peru and France.

Ralphy Dominguez is the CEO and Founder of Pen & Pistol. We worked together starting with the ideation of his business through many milestones, like making his first sales and contracting official office space and employees. Ralphy has turned his life around and is using his business to give back to the community.
